MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) is an 8-week program designed to help you break free from stress, overwhelm, and constant mental noise. Through simple yet powerful mindfulness practices, you’ll learn how to quiet your mind, release tension, and navigate life with more ease, clarity, and presence.

What is MBSR?

Developed in 1979 by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts, the MBSR program is a scientifically researched mindfulness course renowned worldwide. Over eight weeks, you'll engage in practices that foster mindfulness, helping you break free from negative thought patterns and reduce stress.

What’s in the MBSR course

  • Initial Consultation: Begin with a 30-minute one-on-one session to understand your goals and set a personalized path.

  • Weekly Sessions: Participate in 8 weekly sessions, each lasting 2.5 hours, encompassing a range of practices, theory, experiential learnings, and discussions.

  • Comprehensive Course Book: Receive an in-depth course book to support your learning during the 8 weeks and after the course for your own personal use.

  • Audio and Video Resources: Access recordings, including body scans, sitting practices, mindful movement sessions, and various guided meditations.

  • Retreat Day: Engage in a 5-hour retreat between sessions 6 and 7 to deepen your practice.

  • Certificate of Completion: Earn a certificate upon completing the course, a prerequisite for teacher training facilitated by the Academy.
